From a young age I was always involved with dogs. My family was a breeder of Dalmatians. As a teen and young adult my main focus was on competitive equestrian sports where I competed at a national level. I was fortunate to learn from some of the greats in the equestrian industry on horse training, behavior and riding.

A dog was always close by and the two worlds often intersected. In my spare time I would teach the farm dogs tricks and help them learn how to behave properly around the horses. At 19 years old I was gifted a pit bull puppy, since that moment I knew my calling was to be a trainer.
 

I decided that to help others train I needed to educate myself in the best way possible, I’ve made a lifetime commitment to constantly learning about all things dog training and behavior. I’ve attended numerous schools, seminars, training symposiums and conferences.

I’ve developed a sequential and balanced training approach that is geared toward each individual dog and their owners. Owners and dogs each have unique needs in training and I believe I’m well equipped to train both the dog and their person. I also have a special interest in fitness and I am a fitness coach as well as a dog trainer- Working with humans and dogs is my calling.
